Natural mineral fertilizers

There are many benefits of using natural fertilizers or mineral fertilizers on agricultural land. They have a direct influence on the correct development of crops and help to avoid possible diseases. They also serve as an anti-caking agent, dispersant, pH adjuster and soil shading agent for greenhouses, among others. Rock flour for plants.

Animal care

You probably already know some of the nutritional functions that minerals provide for good animal development and their level of production. Ceramic

The different nature of the micronized minerals confers various beneficial properties to the final product, they also incorporate very energetic fluxes that help to lower the melting temperature. For example, in the production process, the proportion of the crystalline phase can be increased with the presence of calcium carbonate, which results in greater porosity and less expansion due to humidity. To avoid the formation of caliche, talc is added.

Glass

The addition of stabilisers to the glass is intended to compensate for the negative effect produced by the incorporation of the alkaline ions used as fluxes and to partially repair the lattice deterioration caused by these ions. Some of the stabilising oxides that act structurally as lattice modifiers are the alkaline earth oxides, calcium and magnesium. Their double positive charge gives them a firm hold on the crystal lattice, thus reducing the mobility of alkali ions. The presence of stabilisers reduces the electrical conductivity of the glasses and increases their resistance to acids.

Paints and pigments

The nature of mineral fillers and their various granulometries allow paint manufacturers to achieve the desired characteristics, such as resistance to weathering and micro-organisms, deformation and flow, final appearance, hiding power, gloss, compaction and porosity.

Calcium carbonate is known in the adhesives, glues and sealants industry as a filler with many functional properties, such as improving the mechanical strength, deformation and flow of the adhesive mass, as well as offering an excellent surface finish.

Filler for concretes and mortars

The correct use of this material has a positive influence on the propierties of concrete, both in the fresh state and in hardened concrete: fluidity, filling capacity, total shrinkage, drying cracking, resistance to segregation, blocking, developed heat of hydration and compression.
